These are high protein, low carb chocolates. With a cherry bite. They have a dense dollop of antioxidants and what’s more: you can hide quite a range of ‘interesting’ tasting supplements in there, such as spirulina, magnesium powder, etc. should you find the need.
They are great for sweet cravings but have superior nutrition as a morning tea snack, and can be enjoyed at any time.
- ½ cup of nut paste – eg. almond paste or mixed nut paste or hazelnut paste¼ cup of LSA mix (linseed, sunflower and almond meal)
- ½ cup of Morello cherries or melted frozen berries
- ½ cup of Goji berries
- 2Tbps of protein powder
- cocoa to taste – approximately 1/2 cup
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract (or to taste)
- 2 Tbspn Xylitol
blend all ingredients and roll into little balls of dough.
